I've just got done studying about Middle Age European literature. Cantebury Tales was something I read. If you're not familiar with the work, it is basically a story of stories in the format of a large poem.

My task if for you guys to come up with a poem.
I was thinking, let's see how well AA.com can represent in da hood yo........yeah, i'm too white.

Here are the rules:
1. You must have it in iambic pentameter If you're not sure what Iambic pentameter actually is, here's a brief explanation:

Iambic pentameter itself is a rhythmical pattern of syllables. The "iambic" part means that the rhythm goes from an unstressed syllable to a stressed one, as happens in words like divine, caress, bizarre, and delight. It sounds sort of like a heartbeat: daDUM, daDUM, daDUM. Each iambic unit is called a foot (the term foot is also applied to other rhythmical units, such as trochaic [DUMda], dactyllic [DUMdada], and anapest [dadaDUM]). The "pentameter" part means that this iambic rhythm is repeated five times, or has five feet: daDUM daDUM daDUM daDUM daDUM[da].

2. You must have rhyming couplets.
3. Since I see alot of people that enjoy the art of rapping, the theme must be about rappers/rapping. You can describe a rapper, a certain rap, the personality of a rapper, etc. Basically anything that has to do with a rapper.
4. Be creative.
5. It is alright if you can contribute 1 couplet in iambic pentameter. If you would like to add to someone else's work, quote their work and add your underneath.
6. Have fun...I think giving the theme about a rapper will put an interesting edge on this.

Let's see what you've got![/url]
