On my server, I set sv_maxRate to 6000 both on the commandline and in /main/server.cfg, and from the console, it displays sv_maxrate 6000.

But, when I do rcon status, it is showing players with a rate of 20,000. Is this rate correct or erroneous, and if correct, why is the sv_maxrate not being enforced?

I have a 1M upwidth (~122k/s), so I'm trying to determine a good balance of number of clients and rates .. any help would be appreciated.
