Well for DM, TDM and round-based TDM (a bit different here) is bascially all about kill kill kill...

On objective matches, since you don't get any score for blowing up the cannon (of diffusing the bomb for that matter), no one on the team cares about completing or preventing the other team from completing the objectives.

Maybe it should be like UT's assault matches, in which you get points for completing an objective, then maybe objective matches can be objective matches instead of TDMs.

Afterall, the one who planned the bomb and blew up the cannons is the war hero...
