I initially chose it because I liked its background as told in Metal Gear Solid:
you had liquid snake, the brother with the recessive genes, solid snake who
ended up with all of the dominant genes (the superior individual) and finally
solidus, who stood in the middle, neither the weakest nor the strongest. I
guess that's how I feel about myself in several respects...
