I had as much trouble with that level as I did Sniper Town. On the road that leads to the bridge where your Tiger will eventually stop to destroy the 88, the plunger, and engage the wave of enemy tanks, there are two buildings at the beginning of the bridge, and they both have towers--one on the left and one on the right. You need to take the one one the right. You will know it's the correct tower if you are looking directly across the river to the plunger.

After you snipe the last of the enemy troops trying to blow the bridge with the plunger, your captured Tiger tank will move on the bridge, and blast the 88 and the plunger. When the enemy tanks start showing up, target them with your binoculars and call in an air strike. You also have to kill any German troops that rush up the stairs to stop you. I kept losing the level because I kept getting killed by the troops because I was so focused on calling in strikes on the enemy tanks.

I finally won by

1. Calling in a strike.
2. Switching to the Thompson, spinning around and blasting the enemy troops as they rushed up the stairs. By that time the airstrike destroyed the first wave of tanks.

3. Switch back to my binoculars and call in a strike for the next wave of enemy tanks.

4. Switch to the Thompson, gun down the next pack of Nazis charging up the stairs.

I repeated 1-4 until I was down to 50% health and my Tiger was down to 45%. My last airstrike was called in on a lone German King Tiger that was attacking my King Tiger. I popped two more Nazis who were rushing up the stairs, yelling and cursing (I guess they were cursing--I don't understand German but they sure sounded pissed), spun back around to the window, and saw the air strike and my King Tiger blow the enemy King Tiger away. The CO called in on my radio and said something to the effect of "Good work Lt. Powell!" The mission ended successfully.

One way to fail is to take the tower on the left. Although you get a better sniping angle on the enemy soldiers trying to blow the bridge, and you won't be harrased by enemy troops rushing up the stairs to kill you, those enemy tanks will target you and blow your ass clean out of the tower after you launch the first air strike against the first wave of enemy tanks. It seems the only way to win the mission is to snipe and call in the strikes from the tower on the right, killing all the enemy soldiers trying to stop you.

And I thought Sniper Town and the City Hall mission following it was a bitch . . . 8-)
