Well thankfully you have 3 options for finding game servers. First is the in game IP-2-IP option so you can have local LAN parties, second is the program called The All Seeing Eye and then there is the Gamspy servers. And man what a pain GS causes. I strongly suggest trying out The All Seeing Eye first. It is a pain to config but it is worth it because it has no Adds running eating up bandwidth and I've tested it and in gamespy I ping a server called Crackpipe Charlie 148 with All Seeing Eye My ping was 88.
