I knew Rumsfeld was a total dumbfuck before Bush was elected.

Mr. "I think 2 small aircraft carriers like Charles de Gaulle size are better than on Nimitz class" has to be insane to propose anything that fucking stupid.
The light carrier was one of his stupid pet projects which never got of the ground thanks to 9-11

Didn't he also propose an all-wheeled light armored army to eventually replace our tracked heavy armor (Abrams); what a dick, even Iraqi T-62s would own an LAV with a 105mm cannon strapped to it annoy:
