I don't beleive in god, i never have, i even asked to get notes from my parents to get out going to church at school (seriously)
All the noahs ark and little donky stuff to sugar coat religion to make it easy for kiddies to learn didnt cut butter with me.
I've never sinned, ive never sinned because ive never swore myself to not do what religous people would class as sins. To me, if crimes are commited, justice will be seen in a courtroom not at pearly gates.
When i die, that will be the end of me, i'll be cremated and have my ashes scattered in the highlands of scotland. I won't live on as a spirit, i will live on in my kids if i have any, my genes.
I dont care about religous people in what they beleive, its their choice and im not here to change them. I do object to some things about religion though.
I dont like when religious people try and change me. Come knocking at my door telling me jesus loves me, isnt going to cheer me up or make my day, it pisses me off. if i cared about it, i would go to church, and even if there were a god, i highly doubt he would want people interupting other peoples days just to talk about him.
But whats happened in the first place? why has it even reached a time where people have to go around and "spread gods word". Times have changed, people have changed, and i empahasise it again, times have changed!.
There are some things religously written that bother me though, now i stress, i dont beleive this stuff, and i am writing about them as in "if i thought it really happened" terms.
first being, noahs ark, yeah it may be a story, but in real life, even if it did rain for like 40 days, there is not enough water volume on earth to flood the world, everyone knows the water cycle of evaporation, condensation and then rain. But, yeah, only a story, but turning round to your children and saying god did that.....when it is a story.....is technically a lie, and a lie is classed as a sin is it not?
The mary and joseph thing, god technically raped mary, making her pregnant when she never asked. are we expected to think thats a good thing that she will have the son of god. Im sorry, but if i were joseph i would be marching straight down to the jerry springer studio with a story like that.
As for jesus' execution, there may well have been a guy called jesus who people admired, but the romans would not of executed him as he claimed to be the son of god, but because he was becoming a political threat. jesus would of been like any president or prime minister of today. and just several us president.....he was killed because people disagreed with him. thats my way of looking at it.
