Actually the M16 A4 is a really good weapon, the reason we dont have all M4s (well the Marine corp) is because we cant afford a drastic change like that, and the M16 A4 has longer range and the carrying handle can be removed like the m4, wish we did switch over though. The M4 is better for urban which is what wars are nowadays.
