I put some thought into TGBs post and BSs replies to it. I would reference the exact post, but it has been deleted.

In the post TGB brought up changing the site layout and a few other good ideas. Amoung them, mod selection, different governing tactics, and better housekeeping.

I have also put some thought to Noctis' suggestion in reference to a more Allied Assault focused AA.

Now bear with me, It's 3AM here and I have just finished my 3rd drink for the night. This may come off as wild, extreme , or even insane. But the more I think about it, the more I am taken on the idea..... this is just a suggestion on a solution for the hax, spam, and general unrest amoung AAers.

Step One. ALL admin and mods be removed making BS the only person within the governing body of the site. This because you have leaked passwords my man, and without knowing how that hapened it would be best to start over. You can then reistate power later as needed.

Step Two. Delete and remove ALL users, and delete the ban list. Everyone starts over with a clean slate. This will allow for everyone to rejoin and will give you an accurate idea of exactly how many posters you actually have.

Step Three. Restart the forums, file submitions, and news articles. This will allow you to make changes easily to the forum layout, and flow of information within the site. Fresh start. This would also be a great oppertunity to get new affiliates and contacts would have to come back to the site and repost info, ect.

Now I know that sounds extreme.... but a fresh start in all aspects of the website and forum could prove to be not only an opertnity for you to rework and refine the site, but also an opertunity for the users to see some real change.

It is my understanding that the only reason this site is attacked is because of banishments and current control factors. I think by deleting ALL accounts and the banlist, that problem could be solved.

I also think that the site and forums could use a good overhaul, no harm in it anyway. You have more than enough trained proffessionals at this site to help you with whatever needs you may have.

And finally, a fresh aprouch and "new" look would be a good marketing move. You would not only improve the user-base, but also gain more ground in sites wanting to be affiliated with AA.

I am open to coment, by all. This is just a thought, but I felt like sharring in light of the recent attack.
