and to answer the topic...expansions usually suck...take spearhead and breakthrough as an example.

So your comparing COD to MOHAA? MOHAA had like what 1 patch and thats it? COD has already had more patches than that and I would expect a good expansion. |
from what I noticed, the patches helped ruin the game, not better it.
