Ok, then a timed mission could be that here comes the b52s in x time, so the allies have to disable the german radar, and the germans must destroy the bridge before enough allies can cross to gain a foothold to exploit it...
something that has both sides actively AND passively completing their own missions, while trying to confound the other side at the same time...
