We're not a one year wonder. We've been rebuilding for the past 10 years. It just so happens we've been able to go further ion the playoffs than anyone thought. Darryl sutter is this team. Without him we probably woulnd't be here. No doubt about it. He was the missing piece. We had a winning record with Darryl last year when he took over midway through the year. So i'm sure if he was coach fort the whole year, we would have made the playoffs last year as well.

And what does history have to do with anything? We're not living in the past. Things aren't set in stone. Things can change. We have the ability to win. Just because Anaheim and others lost doesn't mean we will too.
