Yes, Breakthrough isn't that bad, but I think that EA destroyed the little things that made AA a good game. Sure, some may argue that Breakthrough did in fact improve on somethings, and that may be true, but I'm talking gameplay here.

For example, they completly destroyed the use of rifles. It's hard enough to get a crosshair on a fast moving target, but when EA made the rifle extremely innacurate as you are moving, It's next impossible impossible (without being extremely lucky) to shoot your target in a close combat strafe Rifle vs. SMG situation. Even if you are lucky to get your crosshair on the guy, the bullet flies randomly elsewhere.

They even decreased the power of rifles in BT from SH. The bullet now only has the power to pass through one body, even if there is another enemy directly behind the other.

MP Maps were also uneven, giving either allies or axis the upperhand position-wise in both TDM and Tug-of-War.

I don't know about you, but little things like that really bugged me. I believ they did fine on Spearhead; I expected little to be improved on when I bought it, and that's what happened. But, still forgiving and still loving MOH, I bought BT ($39.99=Rip!), also expecting little to be improved on, and little was, but the thing is they completely ruined what I loved about AA/SH! All I got was a few more maps, weapons, sp, and skins. They were that close to ruining gameplay.

I think that BT is now wisely priced 19.99 (while Spearhead is still 29.99 happy: ).
