Look for the division hats many of them wear. I saw a guy at Barnes & Noble once, and thanked him for his service. He then told me of some things he saw at Iwo Jima, and about a guy who dove on a grenade to save his friends. Somehow he survived, and was awarded the Medal of Honor. beer:
