Even if they had held him, he could have simply sued the government for wrongful arrest and claimed he made the confession because he was insane and therefore believed it, which is why he passed the polygraph.
Of course CNN is run by Liberals, and since they are such an unbiased news agency, I'm sure that the omittance of such relevant facts was purely unintentional.
