I could prolly argue against that in a fukd up historical perspective.
our boys fought to conquer empire, empire - £. We also fought Germany in ww1 to limit their economic expansion etc & thus preserve our dominance &tc &tc.
Lotta people did die so you could have a choice in electing a government though. I would prefer going back to absolute monarchs...
