I need one since I make chemistry lab computers work and I can't just sit in the lab building whenever labs are in session and wait for something to go wrong, so I have the coordinator call me so I can drive up and see the problem first hand.
Also helps me win shit when I am listening to the radio in my car.

But I agree that high school kids who think they're cool because they have one are dumbasses...correction...any HS kids who think their cool/tough/etc. are dumbasses, usually the same ones who aren't cool in college because they never mature and can't fit in anymore biggrin:
