LOL @ chevy
5.7L hemi stats: 345 horsepower and 375 pound-feet of torque yet its 2.4L smaller.
now if you look at the biggest dodge engine, the 8.3L V10 That churns out a wopping 500 horsepower and 525 pound-feet of torque. Now thats serious power.[/quote:5503a]
That thing isnt even a real hemi, it just stole the name, ask any mechanic. I couldnt drive a dodge, mainly because the trannys suck, they have horrible styling and always have been shit compared to chevy and ford. for 20 hp less I can drive a truck that will alst forever wont blow transmissions and doesnt look like a puffer fish. Oh and that engine has 75 less ft pounds of torque and as we all know when you tow you need the torque
Know what is funny? The z06 vette is .10 slower in the quarter mile then the fastest viper ever, despite having 95 hp less and around 75 ft pounds torque less. Know why? Engineering, chevys body is not only lighter, but it looks better and is more aerodynamic, not to mention the z06 runs for $53,000 and the viper is at least $93,000. The z06 also has a quieter ride and better gas mileage.
And btw short the muslce car era is over, your dumbass wouldnt even know what would constite a muscle car anyways. Muscle cars were dirt cheap, somewhat cheaply made cars with big engines to go fast. usually no fancy features and nothing special besides the engine, tranny and suspension.
