Damnit come on!! – TOO MANY on a team? I could say the SAME THING about the MSG. ESPECIALLY on a realism server where one hit is all it takes to knock you out of the game. I’ve said it once and I’ll say it again – the gameplay mechanics of this game are not set up for the type of “realism” people are trying to introduce here. For everyone who says this game is to “QUAKEISH” – NO KIDDING!!!!!
Come on now.
I mean, it just bites my craw that the MSG is supposed to be this godly weapon, that is without flaw, and is ok to use. I can remember when it was just the ZOOK that people complained about. Then it went on to the SNIPE, then NADES, and now SHOTGUNS. It’s just insane. One man with an MSG against a team of shotties SHOULD be able to knock them the hell out – I’m sorry but you should since you can fire clear across town and they need to get up close and personal to do damge.
Case in point, say an ALLY hops infront of my silly AXIS self, and I go after him. If I had a snipe, or a zook, or an MACHINE GUN – he’d be dead. Since I have a shotgun, I have to get on his ass before I can even think about letting off a shell – or he will know im there, and you may or may not bein trouble. The shotgun is an incredible disadvantaged weapon to use, esxpecially in open spaces – so when folks complain on its “UNREALISM”, or its over-use I just laugh.
If anything the ALLIED RIFLE is the cheapest. You can “snipe” from a distance and let off more than one bullet – improving your chances of a head kill. Trust me – I’ve whored this weapon on more than one occasion.
