Change the mobo to a Abit NF7-S and make sure you get PC3200 RAM. Getting a Mobile chip the path you'll probaly want to take, they OC like mad. |
my pc is has 2500+ and an35n and ocs fine, so does graves, and the other two pcs w/ the same mobo.. much better for the price.
ive seen many, many problems with the NF7-s despite the good talk about it.
anyways, if you arent a total retard, your better off getting 1gb of good crucial or samsung ram for 160-180 than paying the same for one stick of good 512
honestly timings make very little noticable difference.
