Don't believe it.

"...realism mods are for newbies."

That's about the funniest thing I've heard in awhile. Realism mods make it so if you get shot in the chest then you die, which is....realistic. If there is less room for you to make mistakes when moving, then how could you conclude it takes less skill to play with this kind of mod? I don't see the logic.

My feeling is that these people who claim these mods are for "newbies" are themselves the ones with less skill, because they would rather rush people like a bunch of headless chickens with shotguns and SMG's with no regard to whether they get hit or not. It's the Quake crowd, and for some reason many of these people think every FPS should play like it. EA tried to get the best of both worlds, and realism mods allow people looking for a little more in the way of realism to enjoy the game as much as the "headless chickens".

More power to you if that's how you want to play, but realism mods for "newbies"....that's laughable.
