The only thing i don't like about it is:
Video card: New box should come with the newest Radeon X800 card
15" flatscreen: Get a 21" CRT for slightly more $$$
Speakers: Give them to your sister and buy yourself either 4.1 or 5.1 surround sound.
Other than that, the system is pretty good and should serve well for a few yrs.
