mcgreevy didnt lie about anything
and ppl like kerry had no clue this was going on
mcgreevy resigned effective nov 15 so that his party would have the next year to have a new democratic candidate, not because anyone told him to
he said that he is resigning because he commited an act that breaches his marital agreement, but yeah everyone knows that its to avoid law suits and bullshit scandals
i think what he did was right, as there would be a lot of trouble had he only come out of the closet and not revealed his affair also
