oh by the way, I have the a7n8x motherboard, havent had any problems with it so far so iv considered it a good choise. Im guessing yours is just the next level up.[/quote:a1c81]

I have the same baord right now. I have no probs with it either.

[quote:a1c81]Might want to try for a x800 pro "vivo" they can normally be bios flashed to x800xt.

Also zalman coolers are generally wank, built to look good and be quiet but do diddily shit for adequate cooling.[/quote:a1c81]

I can get an x800 vivo for $614, but the place that has them is out of stock of all the X800's. I'm not buying right away this instant, so maybe some will come in and I'll see if i should get that one.

I always thought Zalman were pretty good. Anyway, i'll have to read some more reviews if I do get it.

[qupte]western digital hard drives are crappy, and your paying too much for that one

other than that, not bad... although you could save money buying fans at a local store...

nice system [/quote]

WD is crappy? Aren't they the most popular brand?

Those fans are from a local store. They don't really have led's there for less than $20. I bought a fan for this comp ther last weekend. It was $15 for 80mm. THey ahd ones for $6, but I think i'll stay away from those.

[quote:a1c81]Regarding the cooler, from some reviews ive read the stock heatsink does a good job unless you're overclcoking, the 64 cpu's dont generate too much heat anyway. Might want to just use stock untill you feel the need to overclock then look at your options at the time. [/quote:a1c81]
I'm thinking that I may want to OC this baby. I'll have to decide for sure and see.

[quote:a1c81]some of the prices look a little high, shop around. Are you building this yourself or is a store doing it for you? [/quote:a1c81]
I ahev been for the past 3 weeks or so. I could find cheaper prices online from the states, but then i'd have to pay shipping and customs. This way, i'm buying locally, and pay no shipping. I'm pretty sure it'll end up being cheaper this way.

And i'm building it myself. All i'm doing here is it's just that the more opinions I hear from the better, right? Thats the way I see it. I'm going to ask as many people as I can to see if their opinions match mine, or if they don't, why they don't so I can see the point they are making in hopes of improving the rig.

[quote:a1c81]before you buy, build another system here first, with exact same parts and see which place will save you more money.

Other then that it looks fine. I have gone threw many WD HD's in many computers, I have never felt a problem with any.
