It's usually the opposite here, people getting light sentences
when they're guilty beyond doubt or by their own admission.

But recently we had a series of gang rapes where the cunt that
was the "leader" of the pack got 55yrs, people were suprised
but everyone in Sydney except the rapists families were cheering in
the streets....his co-accused including his brother got around half that btw.
