Maybe because blood is a large part of the realism of a fps that's about a WAR.

"If you want blood, go to the nearest Army recruiting office and sign up for the nearest war zone."

Or I could just play one of the many realistic FPS's that decide to include it.

I don't believe I'M the one who's lacking in maturity here.
