Ok, to start with... stay away from the filter tab until you understand how to develope ballanced sigs.

Sigs that have heavy filters make great no0b sigs because you get instant effects with no real knowledge. Don't follow that path man, you will end up depending on the filters.

It may help to brouse through the forum and check out some of the stuff everyone else is using, in fact we are running a lenthy competition at the moment that has TONS of examples in the sticky.
When you find some sigs you like, try to duplicate what you see. If you can't figure out how it was done, the person who made it would be a good person to PM and find out how it was done.

I acredit the whole of my skill to duplication... it works!

But most of all, keep trying new things!
