Waffen...Remember at the end of Saving Private Ryan when the P-51 Mustangs showed up to save the day? Well, I don't know about you (Although I'm sure you feel the same way) but this scene really bothered me.

The first thing that got me was the fact that we didn't actually see a bomb fall. Our friend Steven does the same thing in Empire of the Sun. I'd wish Spielberg would change this in his filming.

Again..I'd wish those planes were P-47s. These Jugs were being used as ground attack durning the early days of Operation Overlord. Also, it would have just looked cool to see the jug fly.

These must be great pilots! Right on the German tank..clean shot. Not very likely. But it could happen so I should let it go. Still, if I had it my way the bomb would fall near the tank (and not on!) and would have probably killed Capt. Miller!

The Pilots also choose to bomb while they were parallel to the ground, meaning if their bombs ran long they would have hit their own men. I know it must have been an emergency but would the pilots risk the lives of his fellow troops to take the tank out? Maybe he just didn't have time to make the turn so when he bombs he isn't facing the allied forces.

Oh..also Upem or however you spell it gets barked at when he salutes Capt. Miller. German sniper could see this and put a hole in Millers head, funny then why are you wearing a helmet with the shiney Capt. rank on it. Capt. Dye told this to Spielberg but the director wanted to make the movie realistic.

I've typed to much...I need some cheese.
