If you watch the Star Wars DVD supplementary disc, you will get an Episode 3 segment. In it you can see what the outfit looks like, and it is basically exactly as it was in the older films. The only change was to the mask only slightly to give it a more sleek look. It actually looks better and once it’s painted black you really can't tell the difference. At least Lucas didn't screw that up.
