At least the Yankees spend their money wisely and actually WIN them. It takes talent to make a team. Look at the Rangers in hockey, they've spent so much and can't even have more wins than losses.
Money doens't make the team.

Are you on fucking crack? If you have enough money, as the yanks do, you can buy whoever the fuck you want. That's how the Yankees have won so many championships. It doesn't take talent to build a team without a salary cap and a shitload of money.

More bullshit from a losing team fan.
Hey, you have it all wrong and here's why:
You can't "buy" a championship, you still have to go out and win it. If that were true, the N.Y. Rangers would have 25 stanley cup banners hanging from the rafters. As for the N.Y. Yankees, they have an excellent farm system and alot of greats came from there. Currently, Mariano Rivera, Bernie Williams, Derek Jeter, and Jorge Posada came up through the Yankee system.
As far as buying anyone, who's fault is that? Ask any player in MLB what team they would like to play for and the majority of them would say "The Yankees". Why?....because the team is so rich in tradition that breeds champions. Just putting on the uniform is a dream of most in baseball. Lets take A-Rod for example. Your team wasn't willing to shell out a mere $12 million more to sign one of the best players in the majors because they're too freakin' cheap. The Yanks gave A-Rod what he wanted...which was LESS than what he was getting with Texas.
....and look at Randy Johnson, he'd rather stay in Arizona and rot than to go to any other team other than the Yankees. Is it because of the money? I think not. It's because he wants another ring.
In conclusion, before you wimper about "buying" a championship, think of the facts. You still have to go out there, hit the ball and score more runs than your opponent. If you're good at doing that, no matter who you face, you'll give 'em a fight for their money. Also, you can't say "The Yankees suck". How does winning 26 World Series titles make one suck? Perhaps the better choice of words for you is: "I hate the Yankees because they win so much that it makes me jealous". If you don't like it, you always have hock....wait, er, i mean football.
