the japanese actually had a mechanism on there rifles , designed to "shoot" at fighters on low running missions and what not, ive heard they worked in some instances
but was a diff. approach,
plus there guns were s-h-i-tt-y anyway ( no offense to any of the post wwII japanese gun rifle makers) if any.
