Its called Death Metal not because of the lyrics, but the riffs, drums.
Do we call it heavy metal because the lyrics are heavy?
Do we call it thrash metal because the lyrics are thrashy?
Do we call it speed metal because the lyrics are speedy?
NO. Metal like every other genre out there has subgenres based on sounds and not lyrical content.
