Actually, yes, it is a "racial term." It's not accepted as a PC term today because it was used offensively by southern whites towards blacks during the 50s and 60s in the heat of the Civil rights movement.
Although, not being black, I can't say for sure.....But then again, neither can you. What we can safely say is that you're a hypocrite for posting what Coleman has quoted.
