They say wood tree stands are the worst kind to have.
That second picture looks a little to swampy to me.
My place is set on top of a hill in between pine trees. Looking down on a small creek, with a 2 hills. It's an awesome spot. Tons of tracks around it.

Cypress Swap= tender reeds the big bucks love...lots of rut and we spent an entire day tracking them to learn their habits. At the north end of the property are giant soybean farms and the deer have to travle through our woods to get to dinner biggrin: Its on the Eastern Shore of Maryland so its wet as hell out there. My stand is on a small hill at the entrance to the swamp. We saw a ton of turkeys out there as well and it was bow season....but we had no bows. was strictly a work detail. The stands we built are made from pressure treated wood with chains at the top and buckles to latch them tight. Weve been doing this for a looooooooooooong time and have never had an issue. Some stands we built 8 years ago are still in great shape. We had to repair a few though...ill also have a portable with me if we decide to go deep into the property. Many people we know cut corners then cry when they dont get the big bucks...Ill take my bag limit and post pics....hoping to get a big 12 pointer we saw during blackpowder....
and who the fuck are "they: sleeping:
