Here's how to obtain your IP address:

In Windows 98/98SE/ME: Click Start>Run. Type "winipcfg", no quotes, then press OK. Now, use the drop down menu to select your adapter (Dial-up adapter if you are 56K, if not, look for your ethernet card). "IP Address" is your IP.

In WinNT, 2000, XP: Click Start>Programs>Accessories>Command Prompt. once the cmd pmpt appears, type "ipconfig /all" no quotes. This will show all network information for your adapters in your PC. Search the one that you use for your connection, and look for the line reading "IP Address".
