In Alberta there is a Public school system and a seperate school system. The seperate school system teaches religion in school and isn't more expensive or any different from the public school system. You only have to have 1 christian parent. Maybe you guys should start something like that.
If she were muslum and she had put allah in it, there would be a big fuss also.
There's nothing terrible about it, it's just trying to be sensitive to everyone. Religion isn't taught in public schools because all religions go there. pretty simple to me.
and the whole thing with calling it christmas, who cares? i don't give a fuck what you call it. why should it bother me? you guys are losing sleep over nothing.
North America is a melting pot. it isn't 16th century france or england.
I don't think making her take out God is right, i think its stupid. but tolerance of other religions is needed.
