[quote:e092d]If I were to tell you the bible was simply a book written by a few men
seeking to enthrall the populace physically and psychologically, what
would you answer me ? [/quote:e092d]
These men lived over a span of 1600 years, few at the same time. What could possibly be their motive?

[quote:e092d]As far as I am concerned, there is a creational force... and it did create
the universe with a purpose. I don't, however, believe life after death to
be as simplistic as your bible depicts it. My metaphysical beliefs are a
"party mix" of different beliefs and religions: I take in the best and leave
out the illogical. [/quote:e092d]

Force, as in , trust in the force Luke... How do you determine what to take and what to leave, kind of like life's buffet bar.

[quote:e092d] A being/entity/force intelligent enough to create a universe ex nihilo
with a purpose would never throw away one of his promising creations
to an eternity of pain and misery based on how they have lived one
life.[/quote:e092d]
Genesis 7:22 And all flesh died that moved upon the earth, both of fowl, and of cattle, and of beast, and of every creeping thing that creepeth upon the earth, and every man: 22 All in whose nostrils was the breath of life, of all that was in the dry land, died. 23 And every living substance was destroyed which was upon the face of the ground, both man, and cattle, and the creeping things, and the fowl of the heaven; and they were destroyed from the earth: and Noah only remained alive, and they that were with him in the ark

Yes as you see God did "throw away" his creation, all but 8 people and aquatic animals. God's looking for a people who WILLINGLY chose Him.

Please share your views on hell.

[quote:e092d] whatever his instructors feel like imprinting on it will determine how
that person acts and reacts for the duration of his life..[/quote:e092d]

so that person has no "CHOICE" about decisions they make in their lives, I guess that explains all the full prisons these days, they had no choice. In fact its everyone's personal responsibily to make the right choices and they should be fully accountable.
