molotov cocktails, spas-12, .45 calibur pistol, machette, thompson submachinegun with 100 round drum. of course i could barely move with all this shit on me, but its all nice to have. you'd never want to use a knife against a zombie. the knife would have no reach and you'd probably get killed if you get too close.
