yeah, it's a tradition at our school. Seniors get 2 days off from classes to wood collect and build the fire. The night inbetween the days we build we sleep outside around the huge pile to "guard" it (one year back in the 60's P'burg [our rival] came and started it early. I doubt that will ever happen again, but it's still a bunch of fun to stay up for 30 some hours doing hard work). |

We have the oldest highschool football rivalry between two states (Easton from PA and Philipsburg from NJ). It was played on ESPN a few years back and I think they're airing next year's as well.
