You can't limit your mind to what this thing says. For example, let's turn everything backwards. Say this was written by a gothic guy. He talks about the signs of your son/daughter turning into a christianity preppy kid and gives you many of the signs that can lead to a logical result when the factors are compounded together(in this case leading to the gothic culture). They are just saying what they believe.
