But you still don't understand that when people seem to be generalizing they are usually just refering to a small minority of the followers of that certain trend.

Like Consevative Christians...which is different from Christians who are conservative.

Saying americans, or canadians, or so on usually never means all of them, but it is just harder to write it out that makes it seem like you're refering to a small group...yet even that seems to get backlash too.
