the kid was part of a MOB taking place in a RIOT and he CHARGED a police officer. these were RIOT police in RIOT conditions; all 'would you please step to the side' rules go out the door and RIOT condition rules take over.
if subject does not want to get beat with a baton, don't advance on an officer.
the little fuck was trying to prove he was a tough guy; the officer proved him wrong . the little fuck knew the officer had the club and dared the officer to use it before you say anything like an unarmed man against a cop with a stick isn't fair.
