have had this idea stuck in my head for a week or two now. total overhall of textures to look more "blocky" like old 50-60s detective comic books (lots of sharp lines and sharp colors, little tones and hues). i'd like to create a map or two with new skins based on a character named Ash Hammer (Ash being a pg-13 play on the word A**) who's a somewhat dirty cop with his own department going after dirtier cops and the scum of the city. the above uses a mock up of a Ash Hammer skin and a quick building using the modified textures and harsh lighting to get a comic book feel (hense the look of a comic book for the screenshot)

not looking for suggestions really just wether it's a good idea for an overall theme.
