Anyone ever read Fahrenheit 451?

I don't know but this kind of reminded me of that. I suppose the next question would be, is this guy the man who actually killed the people in the courtroom. Since there were other witnesses in the courtroom that could probably identify him, i'm sure it is.

How does this relate to Fahrenheit 451? Well in the book The dude (wtf is his name?) kills the fire cheif and flees. Next thing you know its all over the news and the choppers are out and everything. The guy gets away, but he sees on TV that they "captured the suspect". The guy they captured was just some guy in the wrong place at the wrong time. They captured him because they couldn't find the real guy, and it puts a close on the case and reassures the public.

When I saw a helocopter image of SWAT teams and then a shit load of reporters it reminded me of this. The media and people who watch want justice to be served. If everyone thinks the guy who was arrested did the crime, then everything is back to normal.
