They don't work in tandem like smp, you either use one cpu or the other, have to disable whatever one you're not using through jumpers on the mainboard. |
They can, certain motherboards support it, given they are quite expensive, theyll usually say "will support dual processors up to X GBs" some require or come with software to go along with the OS to help clock etc
