[quote="Sgt>Stackem":65e27]why did they have a woman with him while he changed clothing? he was in for rape wasnt he? So I would think a woman near him while nude isnt a good thing. I also read over the weekend that one officer was wounded with a shotgun but the accused only had a pistol. Did another cop injur a cop in the chaos?[/quote:65e27]

Apparently the holding cell is a short little hall that has two doors facing each other that lead into little rooms. He was cuffed behind his back. He was standing in the doorway of the room she was putting him in. She undid one wrist and he turned to face her while she undid the other wrist. As soon as she undid the second wrist he pushed her through the door into the room across the narrow hall. If the other Deputies were watching they would have seen it but the part in view of the camera was over in a split second. Once he pushed her into the room (where they change) and closed the door he was out of camera view and could take his time beating her up. That is because they do not have cameras in the "changing rooms" for privacy reasons. The doors to these rooms are solid for the same reason. To me that is a design flaw. They should have a hole in the door for the guy to reach his arms through to be uncuffed (after he is in the locked room.) I also have no problem with cameras in the changing room.

I haven't heard about the officer wounded with a shotgun.
