i used to be a complete metalhead, totally consumed by it, till i found out it was boring.

anyway, some good bands are, as you said, In Flames and a few others.

but here are a few i dont think anyone mentioned, then again i skipped 2 pages of this topic.

Dark Tranquility
Soilwork
Nevermore
Blind Guardian
Rhasphody (i dont even know how to spell it)

and a few others, but whatever.
