You can take both the Non-Restricted and Restricted courses in one week-end,
which allows you to purchase shotguns, rifles and revolvers/pistols. It's around
220$ total, including refreshments and all.

I went with the 1911 and P228 Norinco models because of good reviews and of
course, price: I don't want to pay 1100$ for a pistol on my budget when one is
available for a third the cost with similar performance and finish. I won't cheap
out on the Glock but I *will* wait for an auction or private sale.

I'll be joining the RA Center range in two weeks and from there, I'll make real
plans and see how it goes.
