I believe this particular creature was discussed a year or two back and it was concluded that it is not technically a spider, but some other funny name, they are big and scary, but are no threat to humans IIRC.[/quote:1edaf]
Aren't they camel spiders?
They can supposedly can run super fast and jump. I've heard stories of soldiers trying to shoot at them with no luck at all. They also apparently can finish off a camel quite fast for their size.
....Folklore or not, that pic is disgusting and I wanna throw up on ben afflecks crotch pump everytime I see it. Ewwwwww spiders.
